Why the network exists

Carriers keep freight moving. Too many are left with nowhere to turn.

Small carriers are the backbone of American freight. They are also the easiest target: always moving, short on time and living on cash flow.

When a broker doesn't pay, a load disappears or a fake company books your truck, most carriers don't know where to look for help. Finding a transportation attorney who understands freight is hard. Finding one who is on the carrier's side is harder.

The National Transportation Attorney Network brings attorneys who work in transportation, trucking and logistics law into one place, so a carrier who has been done wrong has somewhere to turn.

How carriers get scammed

The load that never pays.

Scamming in the logistics world has gone up tremendously. These are the ways we see carriers lose money most often.

Chameleon companies

A company gets shut down or piles up complaints, then comes back under a new name and a new number. Same people, new paint.

How it works →

Fake companies on the load board

You book a load on a load board. The company looks real. It isn't, and nobody ever pays.

How it works →

Agents working with scammers

An agent working under a broker's name works with an outside scam company. Your paperwork and your payment get rerouted.

How it works →

The broker doesn't pay

You deliver. You invoice. Then the excuses start, and then the silence.

How it works →

Double brokering

Someone poses as a carrier to take the load, then reposts it as a broker. You haul it. They get paid.
